Single-Serve Brownie

This oven-baked single-serve brownie is the perfect chocolaty treat when you want something homemade and warm — without the hassle or temptation of an entire pan. It’s easy to make, and always hits the spot.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp unsalted or slightly salted butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven on the highest heat
  • Add the butter to a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 20 seconds until melted
  • Add in the sugar and mix till well combined, then add in the milk and mix
  • Mix in the cocoa powder, flour and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the single-serve brownie mixture into a small ceramic ramekin. (Preferably one you can serve the brownie in)
  • Turn the heat down to 180°C (fan) and place the brownie on the middle shelf.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then remove and leave to cool slightly (about 5-10 minutes)
  • Serve the brownie with some vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
